FIFA have rubber-stamped rules that could see domestic matches played ‘out of territory’. After plans were proposed last month over potentially letting domestic games be played on foreign turf, new rules have since been formed. The FIFA Council approved the formation of a working group that could overturn the current rules in place that ban domestic matches taking place in different countries.Best porn XXX. A meeting in Bangkok on Wednesday insisted that fans would be at the forefront of any changes to the current regulations. One of the major rules includes ensuring ‘adequate provision has been made for fans of the teams playing a proposed out-of-territory match to attend the match’. How such a rule could be enforced appears vague with kick-off times and away day travel all set to drastically change. The impact on sporting competition is also a major factor the group will consider, where teams would otherwise have played each other in a conventional home-and-away format. The Council have also requested that the group look into whether matches played ‘out-of-territory’ are just a one-off or in a series. It gives wind to the idea that an overseas league could be established, comparable to the failed European Super League of April 2021, which collapsed after 48 hours following immense pressure from fans. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters has already insisted that there are no plans for matches to be played overseas. However, he did accept that FIFA’s proposed changes to the rules indicate that the door is ‘ajar’ for other countries to do so. He said: “The door looks ajar for matches abroad. It is not part of our current plans. “It is getting to a tipping point. The feedback we have from players is that there is too much football being played and there is constant expansion. “The Premier League hasn’t changed shape. What has changed over the last few decades is the march of international and regional football competitions. “We are proud to be different in England. We still have two cup competitions. “We still believe it is for us to determine how big our league is. If you pour more liquid into a cup that is already full, it will overflow. “That is what is happening at the moment, not just in terms of the calendar but in terms of the players’ ability to be able to perform at their best in the competitions they want to play in. “It stands to reason if you overload the calendar and the players, at some point, something has to give.
